CAMILLE LOHSE
Hello everyone!!
My name is Camille Lohse and I am so excited to begin my coaching experience with the 008 family!
A little bit about me: I grew up in Concord, CA, and have played softball since I was 6 years old. I’ve played for many travel teams such as Bears, Batbusters, Nuggets, and Lady Wolfpack. I have also been coached by most of the instructors that are currently working for 008! I am a sophomore at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA, and am continuing my softball career at DVC. I went to high school at Concord High and played Junior Varsity my freshman year and Varsity my sophomore, junior, and senior year. I was a starting catcher and a 3rd, and 5th spot hitter. During my time on varsity I was a team captain my junior and senior year as well as the starting catcher.
At DVC, I hope to transfer in the Spring of 2022 with my AA-T in Psychology. My freshman year at DVC I had a 0.373 batting average with 51 at bats and 12 RBI’s. I am still a catcher but due to the short season the only stats recorded were that I caught 8 out of 16 games.
I can not describe how excited I am to be an instructor at 008! As I mentioned before, many of the instructors currently coaching have also coached me and I will try my best to pass down the love of the game, softball IQ, work ethic, and determination that was given to me from them. I have always wanted to give back to the sport that gave me so much! I hope to continue to develop a new perspective of the game as well as teach your children and teenagers to the best of my ability. I am 100% certain that your children will teach me along the way as well! My goal is to primarily teach players to be successful mentally and physically as well as to be able to make quick adjustments and to learn something new each practice or clinic!
