JACEE ALMOND

Hello Inspirational Athletes & Families!

I am so excited to be a part of this experience with you. My name is Jacee Almond and I grew up in Concord, CA, playing a variety of sports throughout my life. Sports provided me with a healthy outlet on a physical and mental level; and ultimately shaped me into the person I am today.

Over the years, softball became my passion and I began to hone in particularly on the sport. I ended up earning a Division 1 scholarship to continue my studies and softball career at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. There, I played the middle infield positions, and ultimately ended my collegiate career designated hitting due to multiple shoulder injuries that ensued during my time there. I graduated from Bucknell University in 2017 with a BA in Psychology, and returned to the Bay Area. I currently work full time for a 3rd Party Logistics Company in their San Francisco branch.

I am a passionate believer in athletics having an extremely positive impact on the type of person the player will become; even when the athletics are no longer available. I believe that this is particularly true for young women as it gives us a platform of power to use our voice and achieve things that would not be possible alone. Through years of sports and softball, I learned many life skills, I made deep connections, and I began to know who I was at my core. My goal as an instructor on this journey is to inspire young women to never sell themselves short, to work hard, and to gain the necessary skills to accurately meet their goals. With a background in Psychology as well, I am aware how powerful a healthy mindset is while attempting to accomplish anything.

I hope to be able to pass my knowledge and skills along to young women so that they can be everything they dream of, and one day inspire and lead our next generation.
