I’m Marcus McClenon and I am currently a baseball player at Diablo Valley Junior College. I grew up in Martinez, California, playing baseball, soccer, football, and basketball. When I was younger I played travel ball for the Pleasant Hill Hawks then I continued playing at College Park High School. I have also always been an active and outdoors kid which is a big part of my identity.
I offer something special when you work with me which is the mentality of never giving up and learning how to deal with failure and adversity. I have adopted this mindset over several years due to hitting many obstacles in my own baseball career. Also, because I am still currently playing, I can give alternative perspectives on the game of baseball as I am still learning too!
I have experience coaching young ballplayers at various baseball camps as well as coaching 14u Hawks. I find joy in spreading my knowledge as it helps me learn in many ways too. My goal is to help the ones I teach to love the game of baseball just as much as I do.
